Phone Audit Terms and Conditions
The terms you agree to when you create or use a Phone Audit account.
These terms are an agreement between you and Samos Technologies (Private) Limited ("Samos", "we") for the Phone Audit Android app and its account. Phone Audit asks you to agree before your account opens the app, and records when you agreed. If you do not agree, do not use Phone Audit. Terms version 2026-10-26.
What Phone Audit is
Phone Audit is a free toolkit that helps you review your Android phone: it reads the security settings and app access Android reports, checks links and files you choose, scans for known malware fingerprints, can block chosen apps from the internet on your phone, keeps encrypted copies of files you add, and offers on-device AI explanations.
It is not a complete antivirus, a guarantee that a phone is safe, hacked or protected, or a professional security service. Some checks report unknown results because Android limits what apps can see. No exploit is run and nothing is repaired for you; you decide what to change.
Your account
You need a free account with an email address you verify. Keep your password private and give us accurate details. You are responsible for activity on your account. You can delete it at any time in the app or on our account deletion page.
Using Phone Audit fairly
Use Phone Audit only on phones you own or are allowed to check, and only for lawful, defensive purposes. Do not use it to monitor, track or interfere with another person, attack or test systems you are not authorised to test, break the law, or try to get around its safeguards, reporting limits or account checks. Do not copy, resell or reverse engineer the app except where the law allows it.
Ask AI
Ask AI runs a small language model on your phone. Its answers can be wrong, incomplete or out of date, and it does not change your results or settings. Do not rely on it alone for decisions that matter; check with the evidence in the app or a qualified person. You may report an answer; reports are covered by the privacy policy.
Blocking apps and the vault
Blocking uses Android's VPN feature on your phone and pauses any other VPN while it is on. Blocked apps may stop working as expected until you stop blocking. Vault copies are encrypted with a key that stays on your phone; there is no backup or recovery, so keep your originals. Exported files are unencrypted copies you are responsible for.
Your data
Your results, app list, files, vault, history and AI questions stay on your phone. Your account holds your email, sign-in details and the record of your agreement to these terms. The privacy policy explains this in full and forms part of these terms.
Free, and provided as it is
Phone Audit is free. It is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We may change, suspend or stop any feature, and we may suspend accounts that break these terms. Third-party services such as Google Firebase, Google Play and the model host have their own terms.
Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows, Samos is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost data or files, or harm caused by relying on a check, scan or AI answer, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for Phone Audit, which is nothing. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.
Changes to these terms
When we change these terms we update the date and version above. If the change matters, the app asks you to agree to the new version before you continue; you can delete your account instead.
